Malia McKinnon Frame is the founder and curator of Gem Box Groupie, an online haven for unique and stunning vintage and antique jewelry. A lifelong collector, she has always been drawn to the artistry, history and storytelling behind pre-loved pieces.

Before launching GBG, Malia built a career as a writer and editor with her work appearing in The New York Times, Town & Country, Parents, SELF, Glamour and other US and International publications. With an eye for style and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship she brings the same storytelling sensibility to jewelry—believing that every piece has a past, personality and a new chapter waiting to be written.

Malia travels worldwide to find the most special treasures for her clients. What began as a personal passion has grown into a carefully curated business where she shares her favorite finds, connects with fellow jewelry lovers and helps people reimagine their family heirlooms into modern creations they'll love wearing.
